ELECTRICAL INSTALLATIONS
Repair, installation and testing domestic and commercial housing:
Peak Power can undertake repairs plus new electrical installations and associated testing in domestic and commercial housing. This is some of the typical work we undertake.
Replacement Consumer Units (fuse boards) & Earthing:

When a customer’s existing installation is inadequate, unsafe or not large enough for new circuits to be installed then a new Consumer Unit may be necessary. Peak Power can install an appropriate new Consumer Unit, compliant with the 18th Edition of the wiring regulations (BS7671:2018, Amendment 2020)

Main protective earth systems may be required to be upgraded, including supplementary bonding as required by the regulations
Internal Lighting:

New LED ceiling and/ or spotlight fittings can be installed upon request, which may require lifting of some floorboards, although many can be installed without the need for this.

In the kitchen under cupboard lighting.
Power Points & Showers

Replacement 13A sockets.

New 13A sockets can be installed throughout the house, which will require additional wiring and sometimes new circuits routing back to the Consumer Unit. Such wiring may be installed in partition walls, chased into plasterwork or enclosed in decorative trunking to suit.

Dedicated power points may be installed for cookers, ovens and also for existing or new shower units.
External Lighting

Outdoor convenience lighting for the house or gate walls

Power for garden lighting

Power for stand-alone security CCTV systems such as Netatmo, Hive or Ring amongst others.
Power to Outbuildings & Hot Tubs

Power can be routed, via armoured cable mounted on walls or buried in the ground, to outbuildings and hot-tubs of your choice

A spare position will be required on the Consumer Unit for this.
