EV Charger installation
This is a top of the range “Zappi” charger, which measures the current that the house is drawing from the Grid and limits the charging current from the EV charger, if necessary, to prevent the total house demand exceeding its limit (in this case 100 Amps). This charger is also capable of interfacing with solar panel and related battery arrays.

Replacement Consumer Unit
After an Electrical Condition Inspection Report was completed for this client, it became apparent that a new Consumer Unit was needed to replace the outdated and dangerous exiting unit. This new 18th Edition-compliant Consumer Unit increased the number of fuses available, and also included a Surge Protective Device (SPD) which now protects the electrical systems in the house in the event of a lighting strike.

Garage internal lights and Extension Sockets
Power was added to this single garage, including a mini consumer unit, three heavy-duty overhead LED lighting units and five metal-clad double sockets, connected via white conduit.

Garage External Lights
To help with their new pet, this client required the installation of three switched weatherproof wall-lights (IP66) plus a driveway LED PIR-operated floodlight.

External Weatherproof Sockets
These IP66 external weatherproof sockets are a common requirement and can be easily fitted in stainless steel or, as in the case for this client, in impact-resistant polycarbonate.

Garage CCTV Cameras
This client required the installation of two combined CCTV/ floodlights for the driveway and rear garden area, including all associated 230V electrical wiring, plus a new video doorbell. All the cameras are linked via the same App, allowing the client to be able to receive alerts and see the external areas of the property at any time.
